Open Question: Should prostitution be legal?
Im not sure. Here are the arguments I can think of:
For:
-It is the womans right to pick whats she wants to do for her body. Abortion is legal, why should prostitution be?
-It will be more regulated and therefore standards will be set for what is allowed and what isnt, hopefully requiring testing for diseases, labor laws..etc.
Against:
-It will hurt our culture in that men will think of women even more so as objects
-It may increase the extent of other illegal activities (drug use)
-In countries such as Australia and the Netherlands where prostitution is legal, the demand went way up after it was legalized and they trafficked girls in from other countries.
-The price for unprotected sex goes up because the govt wants patrons to use condoms and also the number of unreported HIV cases goes up.
-Many prostitutes face violence or are in their position due to unwanted terms (trafficking, for example).
Disposable People is a great book that talks about slavery today around the world if anyone is interested! I havent finished reading it and its been a while since Ive had a chance to, but its was an eye opening experience for me.
These are just things I have read, what do you think?

Open Question: Does anyone know of a Book of pictures of lace dresses?
My pal loves lace, just loves it. And she loves creating clothes and designs, and I was thinking of getting her, as a gift, a book every about lace!
I don't mean a book about how to make your possess lace, bobbin lace, needlework, crochet or knitting.
Just a picture book, of women in dresses covered in lace, like a fashion book. If it had patterns for the dresses, too, that'd be the end every, but...

Open Question: Relevant unused book titles?
I'm writing a book but I can't decide on a title. I want a title that is relevant to the storyline but hasn't been used. It's set in the tardy Victorian era. It's about a young lady who masquerades as a male butler to repay a debt left to her by her brother when he dies. She falls in adore with the master she serves-who knows she's a lady. Open Question: Ive been looking into BASIC stamp and microcontroller kits?
Id like to receive into microcontroller programming, as simple as possible, because my current understanding of writing programs is still down to the editing scripts level, but Id like to receive a microcontroller kit with book to tutor myself how to write code. Ive been looking at the arduino starter kit, and it looks very nice, but I was wondering if it would be easy to start with. Ive got a high level of understanding of electronics and such, its just the software part that trips me up. Having my code directly interface with the world and being able to look my work directly I think will help me understand programming and microcontrollers. If you have any suggestions for someone like me, please post em. I really like how the arduino appears to work, with the input and outputs right there on the starter board, something I can quickly and easily learn to interface with other devices and parts ive salvaged over the years.

Open Question: Does Howard Storms book 'My Descent into Death' contradict The Bible (For those who have read it)?
First of every, I am a Christian and when I first encountered Storms account on Youtube it truly had a profound impact on me. Since then I decided to examine his NDE in further detail by purchasing his book. I'm currently half way through and have found it to be an incredibly uplifting and enjoyable read. However, in Chapters 8 and 9 I think the book has 2 or 3 contradictions. On page 67, Storm quotes Jesus saying, 'I am the way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the dad except through me.' Storm then continues by confirming, 'No one will go to God except through the atonement of Christ, adore of Christ and way of Christ.'
Now this is every fine but then in Chapter 9 (page 73), Storm recites some questions he asked Jesus and the Angels in Heaven. The question that troubled me goes like this, "What is the best religion?" They (Jesus and the Angels) answered, "The religion that brings you closest to God."
Initially I thought, they must just mean different denominations of Christianity (Storm also says this). But then Storm claims Jesus and the Angels continued saying, 'It is not so important which religion, but what individuals do with the religion they have been given. Maybe I'm reading too far into this but doesn't this not only contradict what Storm claimed earlier but more importantly doesn't this contradict The Bible, The word of God!? The Bible states unequivocally that those who do not accept Christ as Savior are damned. There are plenty of people who adore God that don't believe in Jesus. For that reason I think this is a seriously disturbing claim. Essentially its saying that Christianity is worthless.
Storm also complains (back on page 67) how humans have tried to make Jesus into an exclusive cult. I couldn't believe this! I mean any Bible believing Christian will tell you that Jesus Christ was not inclusive. By that I don't mean in terms of His adore, I mean in terms of His truth. Jesus said, "He who is not with me is against me." Matthew 12:30. Can someone please clear this up for me. Maybe Ive missed something here. Thanks

1) you receive maried to your highschool sweetheart right out of graduation. your wedding was your hometown and your honeymoon has to be somere tropical.
2) well a few weeks after you arrive home from wherever you had your honeymoon you find out youv got a bun in the oven! congrats! its a boy and his name has to be from a book and his middle name has to be from a movie. (tell what book and what movie)
3) your baby boy isnt even one yet and you and your hubby already have another on the way! good greif you two! your having another boy and his name must have something to do with nature and he has to have 2 middle names one of your choice and the other his dads name.
4) your oldest is 3 and 2nd child 2 1/2 and you decide to receive a puppy! he must be a big dog (tell us what nice) (sorry no toy pupies yet) and he has to be named after your favorite munchy food or candie bar.
5) your oldest is 5 and 2nd child about 4 and guess what! your prego with twins! both are girls and their names must stary with a "J" and a "K" and they must sound similar. middle name of your choice.
6) its been a few years now. your oldest is 11 your 2nd child is 10 and your twins are 6 and you decide to go on a second honeymoon in greece. well we allll know what happens at those so you arrive home prego. again. and it is another set of twins! omg! its a boy and a girl and you name each after a greek god/godess.
7) ok now it has REALLY been a long time. your oldest is 19 2nd child 18 first twins 14 and 2nd set of twins 8 and your twin girls both want a toy dog! what nice of toy dog is it and its name has to be soomething corny,cheesey,stupid,or just plain weird (like feifei or poopoo or something like that)
8) you go on a family vacation to china the same year you receive the new puppie(whatever you named the needy thing) and fall in adore with a little orphan whos parents died in a tragic cart accident. you adopt the needy 3 month old baby boy and make him one of your possess. his name has to be chinease and has to mean something (ike great one or something)
9) well with your guys history we every know what happened in that other hotel room in china ;) right after adopting your prego AGAIN! its a baby girl and her name has to be chinease as well because you conceved her in china.
10) you have way to many kids to fit in your tiny houe! you and your husbed decide to move to a bigger home with a huge yard and a hot tub! (uh oh). what does it look like?
11) youv had quite a number of kids! you decide 8 is way enough and decide to have your uterus removed. (smart idea with the new hot tub and every)
12) well again its been a long time and your eldest is 32 and about to have a kid with his wife (you pick her name. dont forget to share!) and you receive to pick the middle name of the child! it will be a girl and her first name is (insert your name here!) congrats your a grandparent!

Open Question: everyone at my school is having sex, i kind of feel left out...?
I mean, the kids that are doing it are not that chilly. They are not that popular...but im pretty sure a good portion of the popular kids are doing it as well. I could have sex, but i chose not to. Not to receive into a relationship because i feel it will effect my grades. in fact, i know it will.

Open Question: Why am I terrified to go back to school?
I'm 15 and in 8th grade. School has been very difficult for me the past few years. I'll try to make this short; 6th grade-Homeschooled, failed. Repeated 6th grade-Moved in with my grandma, graduated with straight A's every year. 7th grade-Moved back with my mom, went to school for half the year, missed so many days, homeschooled, barely passed. 8th grade-Still with my mom, new school, did half the year, A's and B's, got involved with the wrong crowd. Tried alcohol and drugs. Withdrew myself, moved back with my grandma, in every advanced classes.
Last week I missed a day of school on Tuesday, because I was sick, the next day I could've gone to school, but my book report was due and I needed to do it. Everything just kept snowballing. Now, I haven't touched any of my homework. I've slept 14 hours every day. I can't help it. I don't want to do anything. I keep having anxiety attacks, and I'm TERRIFIED to go back to school. I just don't want to deal with it anymore. I'm really homesick. I'm going to a therapist tomorrow, but I fear that my grandma will make me go to school tomorrow. Can anybody help me?
